The process of branding edocr, an online document management site, began when the company was acquired by Accusoft. We began by conducting in-depth market research and user analysis to gain insights into the needs and preferences of our target audience. This information served as the foundation for our branding strategy. Initially, this consisted of developing a unique logo, selecting a carefully curated color palette, and designing a user-friendly website interface. The final touch was to generate a unique mascot that could be updated at regular intervals to reflect the continuous iteration of the site.
Once the initial goal of drawing users to the platform was achieved, we discovered that small businesses were among our most numerous demographic. At that point further refinements were made to the brand to allow them to flourish on the platform. The logo an color palette were updated in a manner that reflected our commitment to simplifying document management and enhancing productivity. This messaging was consistently integrated into all communication channels, from the website and social media presence to marketing materials and customer support. At edocr, the branding process was an ongoing endeavor, as we continuously gathered user feedback and adapted our branding strategies to remain relevant and aligned with the ever-evolving landscape of online document management.
